Hello everyone, I was wondering if somebody could help me with figuing out an approximate value on these patches I have.
I have three from the 1992/1993 season, one opened Mario Lemieux patch, one unopened Mario Lemieux patch, and one opened Rick Tocchet patch.
Two from the 1993/1994 season, an opened Jaromir Jagr patch and an unopened Jaromir Jagr patch.
Right now I see an unopened Mario Lemieux patch from 1992/1993 going for $100 on eBay...are they really worth that much?

Can you post a link to the auction? I knew what kind of patches you were talking about, I bought a Bill Ranford one a few years ago, for about $5. There's another floating on eBay right now (selling for $3, I think) so I took a look at that seller's other auctions, and found this:

Nope that's the one. Guess the auction I found is a bit off, huh?
Exact same item, more than $95 difference.
I have read that they are getting harder to find, so I'll just hang onto them for a little while.

Took a look on Beckett's website for a checklist, it's there (1992-93 Seasons Patches). 70 of them in the set..... and contains, for the most part, all the star players you'd expect to be in a 92-93 set (Gretzky, Roy, Lemeuix, etc).

The packages both have checklists on the back. There are 71 for the 1992/93 season, (This includes a prototype. It says #22 is always a prototype.) and 20 are listed for the 1993/94 season.
Like 30ranfordfan said, there is nothing too shocking about the players chosen. All the greats for that time.

Hopefully, the print run was less than cards back in the 90's. Nice item though for sure.
