My hometown team has swept their long-standing rivals out of the WHL Playoffs after a 5-3 victory last night.

It always makes me happy to see the kids doing well. Buffalo Sabres fans will be happy to know that Tyler Myers has been a beast so far in the playoffs with 2 goals and 3 assists. Dallas prospect Jamie Benn has been off the charts, with 3 goals and 7 assists in the 4-game sweep.

There's a distinct possibility that the Rockets will face the Tri-City Americans in Round Two. I wonder if Carey & Josh will have a friendly bet about that one if it happens.
