Hey gang,

Here's a little info about a new racing release coming this summer. It's going to be a high end product with some cool new cards.

The 2009 Press Pass Showcase will feature a 50 card base set and each box will have one auto and two memorabilia cards. It will be sold by the box, with each box having 3 packs in them.

I'm looking forward to seeing what new goodies will be included (wonder if they started cracking up some helmets for this one? lol).

Start saving up now for our case break when it happens!!! More details to follow as we hear more info about this fresh new product!!!!

how high end?? i hope its not like exquisite high end, sounds cool though.

sounds nice and pricey.....haha....although I'm hoping i can afford one...but college kid bugets don't work soo well for this kinda stuff

judging by the pics i've seen so far this is gonna be the best racing product ever made. i just hope the price is not too high because i just cant bring myself to pay 300-400 for one box of cards.

man o man-this is going to be so sweet-its agonizing though because i know im not gonna be able to probably get all the carl cards from it-gah.

Wow this set looks incredible, but theres a problem, if any of you ever look at any football cards doesn't this look a lot like something Like Exquisite, or Ultimate, so you're talking BIG money for a box, like scodellaro said i couldn't pay that for a box, especially me being a teen, i can barely bring myself to pay $80 for a box, i usually wait untill it's down in the 50-65 range. i'm guessing this will be a 200-300 dollar release

"The SRP hasn't been finalized yet but it is looking like it will be a $200 to $250 SRP per box. I know most people don't pay SRP."

If it's actually in the $200-$250 range for three packs, the Autos better be VERY exclusive....I'm talking:

Hopefully not many, assuming it'll be a set that has a limited print run.

But who knows....I guess we'll know more later on this spring/early summer!

all i can say is it looks nice but i won't be buying it, what a rip off. I hear ya Jeremy i don't care if it's the same card as that Johnson, i'm not paying $80 a pack to get a Paul Menard Auto and piece of sheetmetal.

Thank goodness that I stopped (OK, two boxes doesn't qualify as stopping, but it does to me) buying boxes this year. If Angie saw what I would pay for these cards there would be a card sale...right outside the funeral home where my services where just completed.

BTW, the appropriate number of drivers is to around 30...all Cup drivers, but around thirty. Any chance Dave can get some new Sorensons?

awesome release but i'll have a hard time being able to come up with the cash to even buy kyle's singles. how do they expect the average collector to be able to shell out $200 for 3 packs and then buy all the cards of there driver. looks like everyone has a decision to make lol

No idea yet on pricing. High End is all that has been said. I "assume" there will be a specific amount produced. As with ANY card company that has been in exsistance, production totals are never made public (LOL, wonder why).

Well... I guess it's whoever gets something you need to trade to whoever has Harvick's for trade. I'm hoping to get something decent in trade for any Harvick's I need. Watch out Pete! LOL

I don't know about you guys but i like to bust lots of packs when i buy a box so that's another downside to it is that you Spend $250 and the funs over in like 3 minutes.

OK, I have heard some more news about the Showcase release that will be coming. Hearing pricing will be "around" the $225/box price. "Tentative info" of 5 cards per pack, 3 packs per box. Will be sold by the box only.

I've also heard about some of the really awesome new cards and other things that will be in there. I hope to have some more news soon and will share it as soon as I know for sure.

Start saving your pennies now. There are gonna be some really nice cards in this product of only the top drivers in the cup series to go after! :winking0071:

I bet they wont be dumping sets of this for $10....And I'd bet that it will not be over produced either. I think most of the production will be based on pre-sales orders (similar to how the first Legends release was done). I'm guessing there won't be much product overrun on this release.
