I was bidding on a lot of 30 ultra pro one-touch magnetic cases (130pt) on ebay but was outbid and lost the auction. The seller contacted me with a second chance offer for $15 (which was my highest bid) and shipping of $12. Whenever this happens, I tend to think the seller tried to increase the price himself and it didn't work. Even if this is the case, is $27 good for 30 one-touch cases? I don't really know the cost of these.
Thanks

its a good deal. you're getting em for under a buck each whereas most shops sell em for over a buck a pop

Without seeing the auction, hard to say if it was a case of shill bidding gone bad for the seller. On something like supplies, it's very likely he's got 300 more of those and he thinks both the top and 2nd place bid were good enough sale prices.
As for how good of a deal it actually is, I'm not really sure. When I buy those (130 point one-touch) I can get them at a local shop for 99 cents. That's Canadian dollars, so you'd be paying a couple of bucks more, I guess. If you can't find them locally, it's not a bad deal IMO.

Most shops here in Winnipeg sell them for 1.99. so 2 x 30 = 60 bucks. Good deal!

My shop in Winnipeg does em for about a buck but they really like me. Also that's in Canadian money. I'd say your close to breaking even it depends on if you want to wait to save a couple bucks.

I agree, if you need them now, is it worth it to wait? I think it is a good deal though. At my local shop, they sell them for $1.99 US, I'd take it if I were you and I trusted the seller.
Your money and your decision, if it were me, I'd buy them.

Look like you have a lot of helpful thoughts. That a fair price and shipping is probably close to that as well.

You said that you were thinking that the guy sold them to you for your highest bid because he might be inflating the price but in this case (no pun intended) I would think it's more likely that he has about a 100 or more, sold the first one at auction price and figured you left a reasonable enough bid that he sold them to you for that price. Or you could be right and the seller is just a little greasy.
