Dear Readers,

I feel a need to apologize to any and all of MVN's hockey readers who may have found themselves offended (or at the very least shaking their heads) this weekend. Over this past weekend, I too was browsing MVN's main hockey page and came across an entry by another writer that any sane person would consider indecent. Don't get me wrong, I'm a sexually liberated person, but there's a time and a place for videos of female nudity, but I don't know about you, but a sports website seems like the wrong place.

I, as well as two of our other hockey writers, have petitioned hard to have the content removed, or at the very least, the unedited content removed. Instead of having a reasonable request honored (which in most environments it would have), we have instead been lectured about "journalistic integrity" and "freedom of the press/expression." I don't know about you, but integrity for the human race far outweighs the integrity of the individual and the press.
