I broke two boxes @ Ron's during lunch. I will give a more detailed report tonight with scans but here's the short version. I pulled two Battle Armors: Joey Logano Level 2 #44/70 (orange) and Jeff Gordon Level 1 #102/135 (blue), two autographs (Brendan Gaughan base and a Justin Allgaier green #07/15), and a Four Wide Greg Biffle 01/50. It has a red/black part of the 3M swatch and two color yellow and black sheet metal. The numbered cards are 1 AJ Allmendinger 45/99 (1 off a door #), 19 Brad Keselowski 85/99 (but it's got the 09 car on it), 70 Kevin Harvick 36/99, 77 Greg Biffle 68/99 and 25 Juan Pablo Montoya 25/25. I also got the variation of the 11 Jeff Gordon AND 74 Jimmie Johnson. I lack 9/12 (Truex) of completing the Mach 09 set. I'll do the more detailed report tonight when I get home. This is as detailed as I can get for now.

My general impression is favorable but Stealth has always been one of my favorite releases. I'm not sure I understand the levels of the Battle Armors. I've seen some fairly low numbered plain pieces and higher numbered multicolor or with parts of decals. The numbering on the parallels is smaller than usual and hard to pick out from a regular base card. This also goes for the numbering on the autographs. Again and going back to last year I still DON'T like the fact that the parallels aren't letter prefixed (e.g. X1, P1). The two inserts were nice looking and I really like the two teir levels of the PP Confidential. I do miss the Maximum Access though because that was one more opportunity for a nice low numbered auto.

opened my 3 boxes from Les today, as always stealth has been one my favorites, nice glossy cards. Only think i would try and change is on the #ED cards, very hard to differenciate from the base. Insert sets are very nice as well. I hit the odds on the R/U, and got 2 more autos than i should have. I would have to say this is probly the best release of the year, i might be biased on it because Justin Allgaier is in it.

Well I would have to say that I was alittle dissappointed in my box. I did hit the required ru'd and auto's. Also the inserts were spot on but to get 17 bdupes and be 12 cards shy of a set is dissapointing. Didn't recieve any variations out of the 17 dupes either.

Over all I do like the set, always havew liked the Glossy look of the Hobby set. Hate all the levels of Auto's and Battle Armors. Inserts I like the design of.

Do not like the fact I'm 12 cards shy of a set with 17 dupes. This alone drops it down to 3/5 stars.

Good looking base cards. got the right ratio of everything. Dups were a little high
i forgot and mixed them up before posting but here is an over view.

Nice looking base cards and i am a big fan of the Mach and Battle armor.
just getting tired of the multiple levels of inserts. i get the Armors and Autos but the confidentials are overdoing it.

Got my 2 boxes from Les on Saturday

Over all not bad. I hit the odds on Race Used & Autos

But I was totally annoyed at the number of duplicates. And not being able to complete a base set from one box because of so many duplicates really ticks me off!!!

But I do like the cards & I was glad to see REAL variations this year rather than just a different number of dots like prior years.

I like the Chrome look on the cards, it's what I've enjoyed about Stealth the past few years. The 5 levels of auto's and multiple levels of metal are a bit insane. 3 levels of one insert is also overboard. It makes collecting a driver feel more like a job than a hobby. I give it a 3/5

Once again a thumbs up to Les for his hard work, time, ect. on these case breaks for us here in SCF. I only did 2 boxes this go round as I never have much luck with Stealth even though I like the looks of them and such. I get too excited when opening so did not keep a per box pull but will just give general breakdown.

2 boxes - 1 full base set, 26 short of second base set
lots of dupes.

mach 09- 7, 1 dupe

confidential - 24, several dupes (and no Jr! but have traded for one already)

silver or secret confidential- 6, 1 dupe

holo parallel - 2 total out of second box (none in first, :confused0024:)

That pretty much sums up my break. Nothing much to brag about but could of been worse. I give this release and overall rating of 4 stars.

5 stars on the design and looks of all.

4 stars on durability. Confidentials corners ding easily when putting into soft sleeves. Battle Armors are too thick for thick top loaders... I did not weigh this particular product but bet you could pick out the pack with the ru in easily, with a good scale of course...

3 stars on collation. One extra basic auto in one box but no numbered parallels in the other. Was several cards short of base set in first box but got missing ones in second box but way too many dupes of base and inserts. Being these came out of same half case, makes ya wonder... Just my personal thoughts.

3 stars on all the levels of the ru, autos and inserts. I have alot to chase.
And what is with the higher levels, lower numbered being solid colors? Should that not be the other way around? Just my thoughts...
