This is fine to talk about, but just remember that you can't trade items that aren't in your hands yet...

I'm just saying that because of the 2 posts below... It seems like you are trying to trade items without actually having them, so I just wanted to make sure you knew the rule.

If the ball is from the 1950's and its signed by Ruth you have issues because Ruth passed away in 1948. I probably dont know the whole situation but I wanted to point that out. Are the seperate balls? Also ask what comissioner is on the ball that Ruth signed.

2 different balls... one is babe ruth and another ball from a team from the 50's that won a championship

Greetings:
Before ya make the purchases look over the products first especially the Autographed Baseballs cause you on the right track in waiting for him to get certification. Make sure its done by a certification place that is well-known and not some guy in the back of a store saying yeah thats his signature all right cause I was there when ya got there Joe. Also check to see what is on the baseballs as well like is it an official ball or not check to see which names are legit on the Yankees Ball see if looks like a facsimile signature type or done in ballpoint pen. I recall one store where I lived the dealer thought he had a 1984 Detroit Tigers team Autograph baseball he was asking $400 for it I later pointed out to him his ball was a facsimile one and only worth about $25 How did I know simple I looked and it was very much stamped signatures all around it on a team logo ball. So doing research on things can help as well deterime the deal is a good one or just some guy trying to pass off fake signatures and wants to get someones $$$$ for his handywork best of luck and if ya need more help check out at the book store Operation Bullpen for more details thanks for reading.

haha
thanks
everyone is making it seem like i dont know anything about baseball
i worked in a shop
seen it all before
many of you may have heard of frank n sons
never seen so much fake stuff in one place in my life lol
n yes ive seen all the lame authentications that say authenticated by howards card shop etc lol
wen this guy called and asked where to get it graded, i immediately directed him to psa/dna
they are usually pretty good, but still slip up sometimes
we will see
hopefully the guy has all real stuff :)
