Went the first day in hopes of getting tejada and or raffy for my set, during bp Jay Gibbonds came over and was the class act that he always is and signed a couple cards for me, then while the players are running and streching before the national anthem I got B.J Surhoff to sign which was a surpise because he was ignoreing everyone BP, after this I possentioned myself were Miggy Tejada always signs after the National Anthem, and ofcourse he came right over to the little boy next to me and signed my card for my set....

i went to the 8/15 A's vs. Kc game. A's lost 6-1 =(.
i got mike wood and mike sweeney to sign though. And Mike sweeney asked me if i could deliver something for him and i said sure and he gave me a signed batting praticed used batting glove( boy would i sure like to keep it) but i helped him and delivered it. I was cool to help out a major league player. Mike sweeney is a nice guy and said "hi buddy" and shook my hand and signed my baseball.

received 2 Greg Maddux cards in the mail today, both were sent to the Cubs. Total time was 5 days. The cards were not returned in the top loader, just left loose in the envelope. I guess I shouldn't complain considering the time it took. I mailed them from Vancouver, B.C. last Wednesday, and with the weekend in between, I can hardly believe I got them this quick!!!

I was one of the lucky ones at the 'Dome to get the big three as well. There must have been about 50 of us that succeeded in all three.

I got mine on ticket stubs, including Mulder on his game start date.

I also got Eric Byrnes and coach Ron Washington during the same series.

Only complaint is for Palmeiro. Four of us were waiting by the dugout. One fellow asked him for a bat, and he gave one up! He also signed sweet spots for two brothers. Me? I'm the only person left waiting and I want him on a measly ticket stub and he tells us he has to go. He acted like I had 40 guys pushing behind me. I wasn't impressed. There was literally no one else waiting and none of the four of us was obnoxious. At least I got one of his patented scowls, lol.

I know this is just for success stories, but about the ripped SASE, I'm not sure if you do this but you need to write "Do Not Bend" on both the outer envelope & the inner SASE envelope. Also, not sending in a top loader will help. The top loaders can get caught in the automatic sorters if you don't put the "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes.

Over the summer i went up to montreal to watch the expos, and after every game a lot of the visiting players will walk out the players entrance and get on the subway. So i waited outside and sure enough id say at least half the marlins came out and signed autographs as they walked towards the subway. Some of the players who signed were, Lowell, Castillo, Choi and Willis. Almost all of the others signed too but without the uniforms on i couldn't tell who was who. I was one of the people to get dontrelles auto as he signed with blue ball point pen on the sweet spot on a foul ball i caught during the game. He was very nice about signing especially after he had just lost the game.

Sophie is quite possibly the greatest base stealer to ever play the game. In 10 years she stole an incredible 1,114 bases, with her highest total being 201 out of 203 attempts in 1946, that's 99% !!! You have to be pretty good when you average over 111 steals a year for 10 years & the league changes the rules to try & slow you down.

This is a strange one. The address I sent to is about 5 or 10 minutes away from me in Indiana. The envelope is post marked from Las Vegas but the return address label has a Portland, OR. address. Also, this is my first case of a player keeping a card. I sent 6 cards (3 Yankees & 3 Reds) for Mr. Morris to sign. He signed my 1992 Upper Deck with black sharpie & sent 4 of the other 5 back unsigned. He kept the 1996 Bazooka. I wish he would have signed the 1989 Donruss RC I sent him, oh well.
