The bat is cracked, it is signed, and has his number 3 on the bottom ofthe knob. It is not a "Alex Rodreguez" model, just generic. I am not sure if he had his own model bat back then. Anyway, my paretns own the bat and want me to try and sell it for them. Not sure the best route to take. It does have some paperwork that traces it back to a ballboy from the team. Any help would be great.

In order for it to have any value it would first need to be certified authentic by one of the major authenticity companies like PSA. Otherwise I doubt you'd get much interest because people would be concerned about its authenticity.

Since you are an ARod fan you might be able to help me with a question. I came across a 1993 Four Sport Gold Limited Edition set #8 of 3900 and I cant seem to find it listed in any books. This is a limited edition of 325 cards which includes authentic autographed cards of Jerome Bettis, Alex Rodgriguez,Alonzo Mourning and Chris Gratton.
I can provide pics upon request if needed for clarification or if you can lead me to a publication I can use to get some sort of BV I would appreciate it.

don't quote me on the prices as i have not looked at the prices lately. there are two 3900 cards of arod. one is an arod gold auto card hand numbered 3900/xx and is a nno (no number on card on the back) the other is part of the regular set that is not auto and is numbered 260. The auto used to book at $175 and the 260 card used to book at 25-30. they could have gone up or down in the last couple of months but I have not checked the prices. hope this helps.

as for the whole set just check up what the auto set and the gold set are worth. if im not mistaken it came in a wooden box with a scoreboard certificate.
