Elite year in and year out provides a great product for collectors. The base cards on a holofoil card stock make the cards standout without going overboard. The 100 card is doable for set collectors as you get most of the cards in one box. The rookies are 2 per box, so you do have to chase for them, but it gives good value to them due to the ratio.

Almost every pack contains something from an insert/rookie to a relic or auto. The parallels are not overly numerous like other products, which is always a plus for collectors. The color backgrounds make it easy to determine which color you have.

Aspirations and Status cards are back. For those unsure of how the numbering works, it simple and confusing at the same time. Between the two cards, there's a total of 100 made. The Status cards are numbered to the player's jersey number and the Aspirations cards are number to difference between the jersey number and 100. Therefore, The McNabb Aspirations we pulled is numbered to 95, meaning his Status card is numbered to 5 to equal 100.

Elite normally yields 1 autograph and 2 jersey cards. We were fortunate in getting an extra auto in our box. There are a multitude of game used and autographs in Elite, but most autos revolve around the rookies.

In the end, Elite offers something for everyone. You have an easy to put together base set and a nice chase set of rookies. For insert enthusiasts, there's parallels of all kinds to keep you content. And for those into memorabilia and auto cards, they are there for the taking. Overall, a wonderful product for collectors.

Once again, I'd like to thank our wonderful sponsors at Panini America for giving us this opportunity to open and review this product. For more information on this release and others in the product line, be sure to check them out at www.donruss.com (http://www.donruss.com).

Elite has been a great football product year in and year out, and the takeover by Panini doesn't change that fact. Nice cards, and nice review!

Anyway the McNabb becomes available?
