Just got this in the mail, bought it off a reputable seller on eBay, he answered all my questions, ball looks real IMO, and the ball and certificate have matching holograms. The ball is authenticated by Millenium Signature Authentication Group. Just want to get some opinions.

One more thing. The ball is flat. I have a case for it. Should I pump it up before I put it in the case? Let me know.

All opinions and answers are appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Here are some authentic autographs we can compare it to, then u can decide.

I paid $150 delivered. The signatures look pretty similar. What do you think?

They do look similiar. I think though the card's signature is more squished and scrunched together and the basketball is more spread apart and with less detail. It's not my desiscion to make because it's a close call and I think $150 is a lot more on the cheaper side so it makes me a littly iffy but I don't totally know for sure. Thanks, Peyton

you have to understand that Lebrons auto on flat items such as cards is different than that on a ball. i've seen a legit ball before and i dont see anything screaming "fake". sweet pickup

Yeah but I got it cheaper because it's not UDA and memoribila never sells high on eBay anyways.

Thanks VLAD. Just one thing guys. If LeBron is a UD Exclusive, then how can he have authenticated memoribilia for a company other than UD?

I'm not sure on that. I do believe there is a high chance of it being authentic so I say congrats on the awesome steal!

BTW, have u gotten any curry cards yet? I'm trying to collect Ausitn Daye cards but he's also a rookie like steph and I'm having a hard time finding any of his cards. lmk thanks.

Thanks.

No, this draft class's cards have come out yet. Were going to have to wait till around October for cards of Curry and Daye.

it happens. several "exclusive" athletes sign for tri-star. i had a LBJ auto 8x10 from 04 that was legit but not ud as well. i'm pretty sure the main binding part of his contract prohibits him from signing cards for other companies. theres probably loop holes alowing other activities such as card show signings, etc.

it's going to be harder to sign a ball so yeah it's authentic enough for me.. remember a ball is round while a card is flat!

Everybody- Do not judge players' in person autographs by their card autographs! Almost all players sign differently in person than they do on cards.

Yessir. i think it probably has to do with being able to spend a little more time and not having 10,000 cards waiting to be signed while already signing 10,000 already:winking0071:

Unless it's UDA, it's fishy. If you want something to compare your ball too, use these 2 examples: http://store.upperdeck.com//Products/Upper%20Deck%20Default%20Catalog/Autographed%20Memorabilia/A01-Basketball/A08-Balls%20and%20Equipment/A03-Cleveland%20Cavaliers/default.aspx?VBP=4&SW=0,0,1,1

In my opinion, it looks fake. The loops after the "23" are almost always open (on cards and basketballs), while your ball does not have a loop at the top.

There's a loop on top, it's just squished a little bit. I've seen many card autos, where it's signed like that.

Looks shady to me. Thats why I always stick to UDA only. Then theres no question about it. Remember looking real and is real are two different things. So with that said it looks like you have a nice looking auto of Lebron. Do you like the irony Darius. lol

Lol yeah thanks Allen. Im trying for a refund. Just too many problems and questions. Im gonna try for a LeBron UDA Ball.

When it comes to these no name COA's, you have to assume they're fake. Here's a link to an FBI bulletin on the matter. Their experts estimate that over half of all autographs sold are fraudulent.

http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cid/fc/ec/sm/smoverview.htm

Only buy from the companies that have have the exclusive contracts or pay for athlete signings. Even the PSA/DNA authenticators are only giving their opinion as to the authenticity.

Here's my Lebron ball from UDA to compare it.
