I'd love to show mine, but I don't have much of anything set up and ready.

The best I can do is show my bucket that includes everything I own.

One day it will be completed!

It's not really 'finished', but amazing what a nice piece of carpet, strategically placed jersey cases, mannequins and show cases can do...

My bats are hanging in their tubes in the rafters...

Nice Chris,

Do you have to dust often? lol

Surprisingly no. My basement only has one window and outside of my friends, I'm usually the only one who goes down there. I dust it completely about every 6 months or so...

Very nice Chris. I love those Ryan Jerseys.

Thanks! Long time Ryan collector... I need to take some more detailed pics of my showcases and you'll see what I mean... I believe at last count, I have over 40 Ryan autos - the 2 jerseys, two hats (one is a Gamer :winking0071: ), 2 bats (one of which is was hand turned and custom engraved by me), multiple books, multiple cards and at least 10-15 UNIQUE baseballs...

i like the show-cases. they look awesome

Thanks! I'm always on the look out for good showcases... the small black one (with the blue 'National' jersey on top of it) is an old Timex watch case that a customer GAVE me (worth probably $400-$450) for rewiring his outside cable the way he wanted... The small plexi with the Yogi Hartlands in it and the NYY hats was an eyeglass case I picked up for $40 from an Optical shop that was looking to get rid of it. It's probably worth $300 or so from a fixture store. The big daddy though - the one with all the various stuff in it - is a double wide OAKLEY case. Aluminum corners, plexi shelves/sides/backs and doors with storage underneath. I 'stole' that bad boy from a guy at the flea market for $280.00. A few 'single' Oakley towers that aren't even the equivalent of HALF of that case have SOLD on eBay for between $750 - $1250. I estimate that case s probably worth (even used) at retail close to $2,000.

If you watch Craigslist and the local want ads though - and keep your eye out at Garage Sales and Flea Markets - you can pick up some great deals.

The wood case with all of the cards in it came from the ****** Megastore here in Denver when it closed. It use to hold all of their bulletins - I just added some screws and corner molding to put cards in it. Cost me $40 for the case ($about $325 retail), plus $10 for the new locks and about $10 in hardware to make the card shelves.

My mannequins have been picked up various places and I have as yet to pay more than $75 for a mannequin.

All the best -

Chris

P.S. - I have a LARGE listing of memorabilia for sale on the other side of this forum... I'm about to list a bunch of it on eBay and add some more items...
