I'll go with Miami or Texas. They are both just so strong! Texas has the ultimate receiving crew coming back and a stud RB core, not to mention everything else and Miami always reloads with studs all across the board.

It should be a good season. :D

Though I hate to admit it, I believe Oklahoma will be #1...

The one pre season ranking i saw had Oklahoma #1, but Ohio State should be. Their the defending champs, who lost very little last season, and have arguably the best runningback/receiver duo in the league.

ohio state has all offense back and their defense has more talent. they have 3 weaknesses that might hinder them from winning every game, special teams where senior BJ Sander gets his 2nd opportunity to be the starting punter. he failed miserably his sophomore year and has big shoes to fill in all american andy groom. the 2nd, experience. they lost peterson, doss, wilhelm, nickey and grant on defense, they have tons of talent at LB and the secondary so replacing them isnt the question, its can they be as clutch as last years team. the 3rd and final thing is their schedule, although they have only 4 road games, they play NC St. and Washington at home, and Wisconsin, Penn State and Michiagn on the road. Repeating this year will be nearly impossible but they certainly have the talent and coaching to do it, but will the intangibles and luck be there?

Of course Pitt is my squad and all... but #9? I'm sorry to say we're not that good... at least not at this point.

I see Ohio State having a GREAT chance of repeating. I also see Miami not being as good as people think they're going to be.

...and although I hate them with a passion, how can you have a top25 poll and not have Penn State in it?

On speaking out about own personal teams...NCSU does not deserve to be #11....Top 20, yes....but not that high....

Miami is not even going to go to a bcs bowl trust me on this. They lost their two starting defensive line men, starting wide receiver, starting quarterback and starting running back. V-Tech is going to beat them and Florida state will tear the a new a-hole.

#1 ~ West Virginia (WooHoo!)

Well I'm a huge Eer's fan. We have Marshall back at Quarterback (Michael Vick style). I don't think we lost any WR's, but don't recall any standouts last year. But hopefully this year has helped them all. We have Q commin' in at RB, behind him is Kay Jay Harris, our best RB recruit ever they say. Plus Erick Philips behind him, (He's a frosh, redshirted last year, he's a hoss. Went to my high school, was on the track team with him... hoss)

Well last year Ohio State was scared to play Pitt in a pre-season game and they won it all... since WVU backed out of a pre-season game this year with Pitt, you might be following in the right footsteps LOL!

Georgia, almost every year the past 15 year uga has had the best team in the country, and this years team will be better than last years team which would have beatin the crap out the canes in last years national champ game if the gayturds(gators to those of you who don't know) hadn't beaten us last year. Musa is gone which is good because he wasn't very good, and we have a kid by the name of Kregg Lumpkin who will lead us to the national championship(not D. Greene). The defense, offense, and special teams are the best in the nation, and i just feel sorry for any one who gets in our way on the road to the national title. i am of course being very biased :)

USC is going to be number 1 at the end this year, their defense is amazing and their new quarter back will get used to playing as the starter real fast. The reason i know this because of the way they handled Auburn saturday.

Miami or UT

Miami may have lost a lot of players but dont' they always. their QB is going to be a stud - he was going to be a stud either here or at Florida where he started and they always seem to reload

UT - do we finally have a QB that can win the big game now that sissy simms is gone? i think chance will surprise a few people - he was highly talked about coming out of HS and has a cannon of an arm with a linebacker mentality - they have K St and Neb at home and the only "road" game is the Red River Shootout with OU.

Chris Simms didn't play for UT, he played for Texas. ;) btw mock is from my old highschool. he wasn't that highly rated comin out of high school. and miami lost to ohio state last year so they can't be that good.
