If you're familiar with his Comedy Central special from a couple years ago, you'll love the inscription: "You hit the jackpot MoFo!"
I asked him to put that on the ball and was thrilled that he included it. He was doing a show in Denver and I sent it there.

Thanks guys! I've decided to start collecting HOFers on gold Home Run Derby balls. I have about 40 of the balls and have sent out about half so far. You can learn more about collecting autographs through the mail over in the Autograph section of SCF (http://www.sportscardforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=287). You'll find some great tips and ideas on how to get your favorite players to sign that way!
Plus, the new TTMM (Through The Mail Manager) tool will give you the best chance for success by showing you which athletes are reliable signers, which addresses are valid, etc. It's a great way to add signatures to your collection!

I sent 2 index cards to duke snider..he hasn't sent anything back in about a month ( I included a page long letter) do you think asking for 2 items offended him or soemthing?

Not in any way did it offend him. That's for sure. I don't know what Duke's policy is on signing ICs, though. Some players don't like it. Duke is one of the best TTM guys out there. He and Bobby Doerr are, IMO, the best signers I've ever seen. George Kell was right there with them until he passed away.
I would recommend trying him again or sending him a card or ball.

This is a newb question but what process do you use for sending balls to be autoed? How do you do the return postage and how do you package them to be sent?
