Jackson was it, but theie priority was to sign the 2 Offensive linemen, which I don't blame them, got to protect that QB. Ryan gioperation 03-13-2003, 01:47 AM plus they had (4) possible SB mvp's so what gives. john1170 03-13-2003, 08:36 AM Can you say Larry Brown all over again? He won the MVP with the Cowboys against the steelers. Got big bucks and then went on to do nothing since. It's all about cashing in on your 15 minutes of fame. I was happy when it was first reported that he was going to sign with the Steelers for like $3 million for 2 years ($1.5 million signing bonus), but when I saw he got $14 million for 5 years from Arizona, I said thank God! I wonder who turned out to be more of a bum from SB XXX, Neil O'Donnell or Larry Brown. Both got big deals after the game (luckily Neil didn't get resigned by my Steelers) and both didn't do jack. swedishfish 03-13-2003, 10:24 AM yeah he was going to ask for a lot of money and its not like he's a pro bowler so htey had to let him walk |
