Hey all I am currently collecting political autographs through email- I have about 100 requests out! The reason I decided on this is it completely intrigues me (politics) and I hope to attend law school soon and give politics a shot! All of my success here will be from e-mail. I prefer not to give away the addresses as it took me a ton of time to research and find alot of these- but I am always willing to trade addresses.

Bill Clinton- Former President (37 days) (8x10 signed photo)
Bob Riley- Governor of Alabama (3 days) (5x7 signed Photo)
Mike Rounds- Governor of South Dakota (4 days) (3x5 signed photo)

Failure (sort of):

Steve Beshear- Governor of Kentucky- emailed a picture (2 days)

Bob Dole and Newt Gingrich are both part of my collections via email.

i have Jeb Bush via email, although Im nearly positive its an autopen- Ive heard many governors and politicians use auto-pens for auto requests, but Im not sure who or how many actually do

indyreds- i actually have requests of both out (snail mail though)

Palantri- i would say about 65-70% of politicians in office use AP's- you actually can get authentics of the retired!

Is the Clinton an autopen?

i like to be naive with most my autos, but clinton appears pretty authentic to me, however he has been known to use an autopen

- an auto pen is a machine that is programmed to sign someone's signature

I do some research like where they are currently working or where they are presideing- I use the google translate alot for the foreign ones. I basically complement them, complement their country and ask for their signature for my collection...

lol definitely did That was a goof-up, it has Jordan on the envelope and I really didn't pay too much attention to it yet as I got Homework to do and i was so excited about the other two (I have been trying Tutu forever and finally found a working address {been trying both snail-mail and email})
