I have a collection of magazines with Kevin Garnett on the cover, and I'm trying to figure out a way to display them. I used to have them on a shelf, but I have cats that like to knock them down...I don't want to put them on a shelf just below the ceiling, as I'd like to have them at a respectable height where I can easily view them...any suggestions? I had thought about taping them to my wall, as they are in ultra-pro sleeves...is that a good idea? Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

It would be cool if you could somehow create a large layout of covers and get them in one frame, maybe with a jersey and some cards. That would be cool!

That would be cool...but I'm not looking for something that in depth just yet ;-) Thanks for the suggestion though!

maybe rip the cover off and frame it like you would with an 8x10?
or you could keep the whole magazine and get them custom framed at a store near you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I want to keep the magazines intact ;-)

Do you know how much would it cost to get each one custom framed?

Wal-Mart sells thick frames that hold magazines for framing. I have probably 10 SI's/game programs/etc. framed, and they work perfectly. Plus, they're cheap...like $2.97 a piece or something like that.

Just pick up a frame that has the boarder and frame it that way. Like this this is one I did.

Ooo, nice StlCards! How do you get the mag to stay dead center though? Just the thickness of it allows that?

And thanks for the suggestion, Jeremy.

I'll definitely look into those! :-)

I put some paper in the mag and one on the back cover and I taped it and I also taped it down to the boarder. So there is no tape on the mag what so ever.

They do sell these little plastic corner tabs that you can stick to the back of a frame and slide the magazine into.

Unfortunately, I've somehow managed to reach my bandwith limit for the month on Photobucket, so I can't post a picture. See if this link works, though.

Mine aren't the prettiest thing right now, but you can add a matte to the front to cover it up, or leave as is.
