i love legends and i am finally getting the richard petty david pearson i have been looking for many years now.

however this set misses its mark on a couple.

david pearson should have been included in the family tree

david pearson 3 championships 105 wins
larry peardson 2 busch championships
ricky pearson crew chief
eddie pearson crew member

also david pearson should have been put on the past and present card with kenseth NOT petty.

PEARSON AND KENSETH both won championships in the 17. Kenseth is more like pearson than petty any day.

ANDRETTIS why not include cousin john
labontes why not justin
wallace family rusty and steven. wheres kenny, mike and chrissy.

any ideas on a price per box? looks like a sweet release, but legends usually is

I'm actually looking forward to this. Hopefully I'll be able to get some of the cards from it for my Marco Andretti collection.

Where is John Andretti? Not buying these simply for that reason...

There are quite a few missing people from the "family tree" if you spend enough time looking at each one on the front of the slick. I'd be willing to bet however that all of these "missing members" are still missing due to "contractual issues". Basically, if they aren't/won't sign with PP, they won't be included. It's sad, but that's just the way of the business end of this. I'd love to see an Earnhardt card with Ralph, Dale Sr, Dale Jr, Kerry & Jeffery making it 3 generations on one card.

No.. I even know that, but is Steven Wallace and some of those guys good either? But still, with him right now, that would be a great set! And you can admit that!

Agreed on the Steven Wallace part....but every member in all of those families in this set were all known racers....and that's the key thing.

I 100% get that, I think it would just be nice to see those in there. But Steven definatly got in because of his dad, they needed him in it, and can not be a family if left alone.

Thing is, by adding the Johns, the kennys, and all, would it increase the overall value of the set? I would be upset if I got a auto of kenny instead of say, the forces. I like this set, for one it will show the older drivers that they are still liked. And adding the force girls- wow.

On a side note, a few years back I was at the Cal speedway, and saw Cale in one of the Main way trailers selling his IP autos. No one was there wanting one. No one. And Cale was one of the absolute greats. Seems it is always about Richard. This set I think is a longtime coming. Thanks Les.

We really did our best to put quality families in...as a whole. We try our absolute best to give you the drivers you want and we have taken into consideration a massive amount of drivers and families.

Unfortunately, as stated in an earlier posting by Les, contracts ultimately determine who can be included in a set.
