So I picked up a John Elway auto Wheaties box at my lcs store auction the other day.

I love it...It's got a coa and I got a great price

The question is, The box also has Dan Marino and Troy Aikman on it and I was wondering where the best place to get there autos would be.

comments appreciated!

are you looking to get their autos on it?

only way to get them both would be in-person, your best bet would be getting them at major shows

I think I can get Troy Aikman at a Tri star show in Dallas or Houston

Dan Mariano will be tougher

I'm thinking this would be the only one out there autographed by all three...

definitely would be a unique item as paying show fee's for those three will be astronomical.... but probably cheaper than stalking them in the long run.

lol yeah

Aikman won't be to bad...I can get him ttm

I think it would run me about $200 in fees and about $400 in traveling...

its been awhile since I had seen Marino shows advertised, but I think his flat fee was above 200.

Well, it will be a few years before I'll have a shot at getting either unless they come to my home town.

tititkomoka- His auto is real...The one that I got was real anyway.

It's definetly not fake...it was signed by Troy

I didnt notice the Aikman TTM comment earlier... I would NOT send this item through the mail... too risky to get lost/stolen/never returned, plus Aikman is a notorius Auto-penner (uses a machine that signs his name for him) he in fact has a 93 Pro Line Auto that he had auto-penned... and he was commisioned to sign the cards! The best way to make the box a keepsake would be to do it in person yourself, or send it to a private signing with reputable dealers. Plus, it'll be more fun in general.

Oh, don't worry...It's not going ttm :)

It will almost certainly never be ft and will not be going ttm under any circumstances.

It will be a couple years before I have chance

I've seen auto pen autos and this is not one...
