Hello everyone!

I'm really excited to see all the great conversation here! I would like to remind some of you that we have created forums just for sports talk.

If you could please try and put strictly sports related subjects in those forums and keep the sports card discussions here I would really appreciate it!

Thanks,

BGray

I'm new to this site and i was wondering is there an online book price guide i can look at? I figure with today's technology, i don't have to spend like $3 bucks every issue.

If you go to www.beckett.com, it lets you lookup the price of a card. The only catch is you can only look up one at a time. If you have a bunch of cards and wanted to know the value, if you made a post some nice soul might tell you the book price of your cards.

yeah i use the beckett one. sucks cuz u can only do one at a time and if ya go back it says page exired. but after a while u can just keep doing it. and it wont bug u about page being gone.better than payin for it. just takes time.

Yeah, I did that the same way for about a month...but trying to go through thousands of cards one at a time gets real old. The Beckett OPG is only $3.99 a month per sport, where as a Beckett Price Guide magazine goes for about $4.50 where I live....I'm saving money.
Plus with the Online Price Guide, you can search for a player and it will list all the cards ever made or in circulation for that player...great for the collectors of single players and what not.

Does beckett give you every card of a player that you are looking for??? or do they only really have like70-90% of what you need.

You can search for every card known to exist for a certain player

Hmm. I might have to subscribe to the OPG, unless one of you guys would e-mail me a complete list of Scott Gomez cards?? (Hint)

You can get a complete list without paying for it, it doesn't have prices, but it will have all the cards - in the My Collections section.
