Absolute Memorabilia continues to be one of the first-high end football sets of the year. The base cards on showcased on foil board. Upon close inspection, underneath the multi-color background is the underlying of an outline of a piece of a football. The players seem to jump off the cards.

As the name implies, the big appeal are the memorabilia and autograph cards. There are a multitude of these, led be the ever-popular Rookie Premiere Materials sets. Some of the true rookie cards from Absolute Memorabilia are RPM cards. The regular RPM cards contain three pieces of memorabilia (usually 2 jersey swatches and 1 football piece) worn or held during the NFL Rookie Photo Shoot earlier this year. Other relic sets feature between 1 to 4 players and usually multiple relic pieces on the cards.

Absolute Memorabilia scores big once again this year. Though you don't get many cards (16 total), a quarter of the cards are memorabilia or autograph. And those are usually some really nice pieces. This is definitely not a set for set collectors or casual card collectors. While you will find them available by the pack (though I would hesitate to purchase them if out of the blister container or the seal is broken), this is a release that is a lot more enjoyable by the box.

Good grief, that's a lot of inserts and parallels. I'd prefer if they had fewer, but it looks like the product as a whole offers a lot of high end potential, and hardcore set collectors who like a challenge will definitely have one going after this set.

Thats a sweet steelers triple. However, I think I'd be kicking myself if I dropped $130-140 and only pulled those hits. Thanks Panini for the preview product!

Nice break and review! However, I would not drop $130+ on a box with only 2 RCs and 4 GU/patches - while nice, it is not worth it to me to spend $25+ per GU/patch. Thanks Panini!

Thanks Panini for the box . I dont like the box within a box for 1 pack . It just seems to me like thats an unnecessary expense that adds to the price of the box. Boxes
for years didnt have all the fillers like they do now ( styrofoam, extra cardboard, etc...)
Nice design & i like the multi color patches, Autos should be on card, not stickers

Deign looks good and the hits are appealing. I have seen some SICK cards pulled from this product BUT as some have stated for the price of the box you are not even guaranteed an autograph.
