I need to know some info on this brand of ball. (Oficial Liga Mexicana Profesional Baseball) Before i buy it i need to know what year the ball is and/or if its hard to find. I looked on google and cant find one thing on the baseball. All i know is the LIGA LEAUGE started in 1925.

P.S The ball is spelled diffrent. Oficial Liga Mexicana Profesional Baseball (thays what i can make out).

This could be a big help for me. If it something really valueable i might throw you some paypal.

Thanks SCF, Brandon

looks like its a summer minor league baseball league that like you said started in 1925. It is the only sanctioned triple-A league outside of the United States. Considering Gehrig died in 1941 the ball has to be from 1925-1941 and signed by one of the greatest ball players ever so it is a very nice piece of history to own. hope this helped a little

I believe the league was from 1925-1941. The ball is indeed rare, so if you attempted to look for one by it's self it's going to be very difficult to find.

The signature is beautiful and this ball is worth a great deal of money. I have no idea of the exact amount, but I would assume $2k-$9k if it was authenticated by two creditable companies.

I have talk to someone thats sells and buys high end only. They say that Lou Gehrig single signed baseball is worth 2x what a average Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig dual signed ball is worth. The duals sells around ($7-20k depending on the condition). He also has one but signed on the sweet spot. He wants $55k for his. He has been offer $35k and turned it down. So i think this could be a $3-25k ball. Thats through my research though. That baseball brand can make it alot more though. So i will take some better pictures tonight after the game.

Again thanks guys you built some of my confidence up on it. If that ball goes for something alot more then i was expecting ill throw you a couple bones.

Thanks SCF, Brandon

Keep us updated Kobelover, that is a great ball and a nice piece of baseball history right there. Most of us can only dream about owning a Gehrig signed ball, so it's cool to read about yours.

I will, Also will tell you what else i get from him. I just got the Lou Gehrig appraised for $20k or more at a auction. That was a free appraisle but it should go somewhere around that. Sending it out tomorrow to JSA. thats the update right now.

Thanks SCF, Brandon
