TOPPS CREATES EXCLUSIVE CARDS FOR UNDER ARMOUR ALL-AMERICAN FOOTBALL GAME

The first 5000 fans attending the 4th Annual Under Armour All-American Football Game ( January 5th – Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL), will receive 3 exclusive Topps cards featuring a 2011 All-American.  There are 92 different cards in all. Topps, the official trading card of the Under Armour All-American Football game, photographed the players on Friday and on Monday they were each presented with personal copies of their card.  In addition, Topps had each player sign cards which will be shelved and used at a later date.

What is a big collector? Is it having a lot of cards? WHAT does this mean?  The way things are now most people would say someone who has a whole bunch of game used relics and autographs. It seems like forever ago that we’ve had trading cards. Kids got cards and went to school the next day sitting in the hall just waiting to trade. Now I look and all I see is people going after the big stuff, big money, and eBay. Have the trading card makers gone too far? Maybe the expanded so-and-so many card set is just to make more money.
