I’d like to give special thanks to those members who, over the course of 15 months, either traded these beloved pieces to me or sent the cards that helped me land them.
This was my first Ice RC /99. I remember watching people break boxes of 09-10 Ice last year and thinking to myself that what they pulled out was almost too colorful to be believed.
At the time, I didn’t know there were 4 different Tiers of RCs, but I enjoyed looking at every one. Honestly, stealing a glimpse of a base card was itself a treat. More >

If you are a Flyers fan you may not want to read this but if you do please don’t be mad, this is just my opinion. The Flyers have come close to the cup two years in a row now and made some serious moves this off season. Unfortunately for them, these moves and their current mindset will be there demise. The Flyers added two of the biggest names in this years free agent pool when they added Ilya Bryzgalov and the legendary Jaromir Jagr, but at what price? Any NHL fan would tell you More >

In the not-so-distant past, I was visiting a local card shop looking for some common football cards. I use these cards when I send away for through the mail autograph requests. While I was in this store, a young pair of teens came walking through the door. They brought along with them a box of cards. Upon further inspection, I realized these young men only had common cards from the early 1990s inside the box. As I stood and observed the interaction between the shop owner and these two young men, something became apparent: the shop More >

I have two words to discuss in this topic, overpaid and overplayed. These are the two choice words I will be using to discuss first, our overpaid basketball players and second, overplayed lockouts.
Understandably, the idea of overpaid players and lockouts can certainly be used for a few other sports out there, but I’m choosing to focus on basketball for two reasons. One and most obvious, the NBA is in the midst of a lockout and second, I am much more knowledgeable in the realm of professional basketball than any other sport.
