SCF’s TOTM and MOTM for October

For the month of October, Sports Card Forum is happy to announce that our Trader of the Month (TOTM) award goes to 19kgreen64 and our Member of the Month (MOTM) is Ryo1549. These special mentions are awarded each month to highlight the member who made the most trades (TOTM) and to turn the spotlight on a member who made an outstanding contribution to the SCF community (MOTM)
In October, Kevin Green (19kgreen64) managed to complete 127 trades on his way to the TOTM title and to the Century Club Status.

We all know that this hobby of ours can be rather demanding from a financial standpoint. However, most of us still cannot help it and we buy boxes after boxes of wax. Why? Well, we want to improve our collections and we are also chasing after the “big pull”. Some breaks go better than others and we are sometimes left disappointed by the results. Through the Mail at its Best: Fan Packs

I have been collecting fan packs since I was a youngster back 17 years ago believe it or not. I would always use to write a letter to my favourite rugby league team here in Australia requesting just a poster and a sticker. As I would take them to meet the team to get it signed. But I would always get a lot more than just a poster and a letter.

Yes indeed, I’ve been waiting for this moment for 19 long years and boy it feels like the wait is almost over! Tonight is the first official NHL game in Stockholm Sweden between the Ottawa Senators and the Pittsburgh Penguins. While I support Chicago, I was still extremely excited about this game.
