On Saturday, June 22nd, Players Choice Collectibles in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia, hosted their second ITG Cross Canada Tour event. Having previously had a very successful event in 2010, owners Dean Draginda and Jason Wobshall were excited to deliver the goods again to collectors in the Okanagan.
As with all other stops on the Cross Canada Tour, the main highlight of the day would be the series of specially-produced 1/1 memorabilia cards that feature the store’s logo on the front and back of the cards. Collectors who purchased a box of 2012-13 Between The Pipes would be More >

On January 6, 2012, In The Game President Dr. Brian Price participated in a chat session with members of SCF. Though the initial impetus for Dr. Price reaching out to SCF to have a discussion was the controversy surrounding the upcoming release of ITG Enforcers (for more information about the product, see the official preview here the chat was a wide-ranging affair that covered many bases and shed some interesting light on a variety of topics relevant to collectors.

I need to give big props to all three of the manufacturers. Trying to pick my favourite from 2011 was tough. Not only have all three manufacturers pumped out several products I really liked, but there’s still more to come (so I entirely reserve the right to change my mind once everything has been released).
Upper Deck has a dual release every year that I very much look forward to. Upper Deck Series 1 & 2. For me it’s become my standard set to build each season. With 50 Young Guns Rookie Cards in each series, it’s More >

In the trading card collecting world there are many different card manufacturers to choose from. That is part of what makes this hobby so great, the variety of different products out there to choose from. Choosing a favorite card manufacturer is difficult due to the number of choices and great companies out there, but to me there is one that stands out: In The Game. They consistently produce fun, unique sets that deliver a great value.
One of the reasons In The Game is my favorite manufacturer is the fact that they make many specific sets More >

No, I’m not talking about sometime in the 1970s when Lapointe, Robinson and Savard ruled the NHL’s blueline, I’m talking about the 2010-2011 hockey season. After years of Upper Deck monopoly as sole licencee of the NHL, this year saw another player enter the ring in Panini. Both companies were allowed to produce NHL licenced cards and of course, as usual, In The Game was also on the battlefield churning out their usual amazing line-up of products even without a licence. As the hobby year draws to a close, I’m trying to decide who my favorite More >
In The Game will be releasing Decades – The 80′s on June 2, 2011 and we are excited.
Decades is the second product we are releasing based on an extensive poll voted on by collectors two years ago. We asked what was the most significant year in hockey history.
1972 narrowly won the poll over 1980 and a hockey trading card product was produced last year to commemorate 1972. This product sold out quickly and is still highly collected today.
Now we have turned our attention to 1980.
There were so many events in the 1980′s decade, we choose to feature the entire decade More >
