Upper Deck
My Dream Set…
Nov 20th
By Karine Hains aka Pheebs888
In life it’s impossible to please everyone and the same applies to the hobby. Whatever it is that the card manufacturers do, there will always be people who will be happy and people who will criticize not one product or idea will please everyone. The End of “Parallel Hell”? A New Perspective on Parallel Cards
Nov 5th
By Richard McAdam aka RGM81
The beginning of the 2010-11 card season seems to have brought about a shift in thinking about parallels. It began with Upper Deck Victory and the inclusion of the rack pack exclusive Red parallels. During this period, collectors were introduced to wildly successful products such as The Cup and the one-off Montreal Canadiens Centennial, bringing in a new wave of collectors, myself included after a 13-year hobby vacation. Every one of the rookie cards of superstars such as Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Jonathan Toews, More >
