The face of the Canadiens? While the Habs have begun their 2012-13 season, P.K. Subban still awaits a new contract.
Throughout the summer of 2012, Montreal Canadiens fans waited with nervous anticipation for the announcement that the team had re-signed its star blueliner, P.K. Subban. With only a limited window of opportunity before a presumed lockout, other NHL clubs were racing to lock up their key on-ice personnel for as long as possible while the rules still permitted long-term back-diving contracts. Both teams have performed admirably throughout the first three rounds of the playoffs, so a series with great goaltending and clutch goal scoring should very much be in the cards. In less than a couple of weeks, we’ll all know which team has won the Stanley Cup. Those of us tuning in will get to see what should only be More >

Social media sites like Twitter and Facebook allow fans to follow their favorite athletes, view their messages, pictures, updates and even post messages to the athletes in the hope of a response. The invisible line between sports fans and these athletes has forever been erased.
Some of the top social media accounts from athletes include: Chad OchoCinco, Dwight Howard, Lance Armstrong, LeBron James and Cristiano Ronaldo (http://www.tweeting-athletes.com/TopAthletes.cfm). Recently, an unlikely story of Antonio Brown befriending a Steelers’ fan emerged which developed into More >
