SPx baseball is one of the first “higher end” products released each year from the baseball crop.
Listed on Upper Deck’s website for release tomorrow, SPx again will again satisfy collectors of the product.
With a new base design prominently featuring a player photo in the center of the card, the always unique SPx base design delivers again.
The always popular Winning Materials and all of its parallels return in 2008. With three tiers of cards and a Trios version that all have parallels, building a master set of even one player will be a difficult task to master.

Does anyone remember way back in the late 1990s when companies tried to capture the idea of a futuristic baseball card? Stl_Cardinals_Fan, a mod at SCF certianly did. So much that volunteered to write this third installment. And he did a very fine job.
During this series, I will try to recapture some of these great sets in hopes of bringing some of you back to those days of collecting.
From the years 1995-1999, each company produced several sets that captured this spirit. So let’s take a one tank trip down memory lane and rediscover some of these lost sets.

Description The 2007-2008 hockey edition of SPx features a great looking base set which is sure to catch the eye of avid set builders. So as per usual, I bought a New Release Price Guide on Becket.com because I like to know the value of what I am trading for. I purchased the SPx 2007-2008 Hockey NRP, and I thought it was a little bit shocking to say the least.
