  2. My 16th, 17th, AND 18th Successes!!!

    This has been the most eventful week in my life!!! I got Bob Lilly, Don Maynard, AND Ted Hendricks. I asked Lilly to put “Mr. Cowboy” (his nickname), but instead, he put “HOF ‘80”, I paid Maynard $5 to sign the card I sent, and Hendricks personalized it. I got the only card of Hendricks on my beloved Packers, so it was awesome!!!

  3. My 14th AND 15th successes!!!

    This has been a eventful week! 4 successes in 4 days! Today I got Al Carmichael and Dan Fouts. Unfortunately, the Fouts autograph is EXTREMELY damaged. :( But Al Carmichael answered my Wuestions, so that makes up for it. (If you’re wondering why I’m saying that, it’s because he’s turning 90 in November). The questions I asked were:

    2. What was it like to play in the NFL
    and 3. Will you sign this index card please?

  4. 12th AND 13th successes!

    Today, I got 2 successes in the mail. I got Jim Otto and Leroy Kelly. Jim Otto put a “00” inscription, and Leroy Kelly put a “HOF 1994” inscription. Jim Otto was the surprise one though, because I didn’t expect “00” Estates Drive to be a real address. But hey, I guess it is a real address!! I’m also very glad that Leroy Kelly sent back, because he’s the 3rd player I’ve sent a vintage card to. It’s cool how he put the full 1994 instead of just putting ‘94.

  5. 10th AND 11th success!!

    I got 2 successes in the mail today. The first one was Roger Staubach. Not only did he sign the card I sent him, but he personalized it too!! I had a feeling he would sign it, because the first sentence of the letter I wrote to him was thanking him for his service in Vietnam. The other success I got was Boyd Dowler. I asked him 2 questions in the letter and he answered both of them!! The questions were;
    1. What was it like to play under Vince Lombardi?
    and
    2. Do you think ...
