Tue, 19 May 2009 18:13:29 GMT Well..it's just about over...my most wanted, highly sought after White Whale has been hooked...I've chased Henrk Lundqvist RC's from the day they were released back in 05' I've had them all but one..the most expensive one of course...2005-06 The Cup Patch/Auto /199 ...I've made offers for it over the last couple years and even attempted to trade for it once or twice..but no one really trades a card like this one...it's either in your PC Safe, or up for sale to the highest bidder..Back when it was first released I could have had it for around $75 but I passed on it..I've always kicked myself for that. But hind sight is 20/20 and we can all talk about cards we let slip through our fingers, or put in our Bicycle spokes or used to pick our teeth..it's not very productive though...So here it is, it's an Ebay pic for now...when it comes in I will take out my little Pic sudio and take proper pics..then it will be shipped off to Beckett for grading..All of my Lundy RC's are graded except Ultimate and Hot Prospects, but I plan on sending them all out together..the Insurance that Beckett requires will hurt, but I want them all to be graded, if just to assure that they are protected from damage forever. Now I need a new Goal..With the National coming up, who knows what I'll come home with !

When I saw people actually trading I knew I had to get in on it...My wife saw the influx of bubble mailers and thought I went on a spending spree ! it took at least a month to convince her it was all from trading...not Ebay !

I made lotsa new friends and that is a bonus I wasn't expecting...I'm happy I found this place and I'm proud to call it home !
