The first promotion is open to everyone who is registered on the site, buyers and sellers alike. To be eligible, all you need to do is send us a testimonial stating why you love Sports Card Direct. Send an e-mail titled February Love Promotion to info@sportscarddirect.com and you will automatically be entered into a drawing for a box of cards (up to $150 in value). Our second promotion is for our buyers. We want you to show your love for the sellers on our site. This month, for every review you leave for a seller on our site that you have purchased cards from, you will be entered into a drawing for another box of cards (up to $150 in value). Good luck to everyone and again, thank you for your continued support of Sports Card Direct as we had over 141 new members join in January.

Good Morning:

Yesterday I had the misfortune of going to the post office and shipping a graded card in a caremail padded envelope to Canada for the first since the rate increase. I was expecting it to go up as Iw as told last Saturday that it would be and saw the rate sheet. Well my normal $3.95 shipment went up to $7.45 which was a shock and took a loss as a lot of people will until their current auctions end. These changes will undoubtly change the landscape for collectors of commons and lower priced singles and pricing of cards in genernal. One other area that sellers will feel this in eBay fees as sellers do get charged their shipping charges. For instance if I sell 100 cards to Canada and now have to pay 7.00 a card that is $0.63 per card in fees or $63.00 in total. That is a a good chunk of change and interested to see how this all shakes out and how it affects the hobby.

Good Morning Everyone. This is a PSA for anyone in the USA who will be shipping cards etc after 01/26/2013 I was at the post office today and since I go there daily they told me that shipping rates are going up. Shipping in the US is for packages goes up from 1.95 for the first 3 oz to 2.07 and 0.17 per oz there after. My biggest increase will be shipping to Canada. First class International packages will now be $6.55 per oz up to 2 ounces from $3.45 and then an additional per oz fee depending on the country. With that said, if you need to ship get it done today or you will see a dramatic increase.
