  1. TTM Success - Charlie Huddy

    Nice little surprise waiting for me when got home from the long week... It has been a number of years since I sent out TTM requests but very happy with my 1st return of 2013.



    Charlie Huddy signed 3 cards for me, one for me to keep and if my two boys ever take an interest in card collection one for each of them.

  2. Box Bottoms

    For their 1985-86 sets O-Pee-Chee and Topps started putting cards on the bottom of their boxes in 4 card panels. These cards features different art but looked very similar to the regular issue cards. This trend continued until the 1990-91 sets. Upper Deck followed suit with their 1991-92 box bottoms being 1 large card but shortly after that box bottom cards disappeared. In recent years Upper Deck has revived that trend on their new O-Pee-Chee product but this post will focus on the older stuff. ...

  4. Jets Fans Make for a Memorable Game

    In 1990 the Edmonton Oilers were on there way to their fifth Stanley Cup win in seven years. But in the 2nd game of the playoffs on April 6th they faced off against against some crazy Jets fan. I guess the 7 to 5 victory for the Jets in game one boosted their confidence because the Jets fans entered the Coliseum with painted faces and Jets flags draped over there shoulders like they were Superman while chanting: "We're number one! We're number one!".

  5. Vintage Set Summary - 1973-74 O-Pee-Chee

    After my last post about the 1974-75 O-Pee-Chee WHA I really fell in love with the SCF Image View for sets and immediately starting scanning this set. I finally finished the tedious task of scanning, cropping and uploading and wanted to show you all the final result. Please see the set images at the end of this post. I had been collecting this set for awhile and finally came across the last card in 2008.
