After the one good game, the Thrashers returned to normal once again.

In the first period, there was actually no scoring at all, which led to a very slow start for the game.

In the second, at 14:06, P. Sharp (CHI), scored his 23rd on the year on the Blackhawks power play to make it 1-0 Chicago. Then, at 18:05, I. Well, I decided to take after Nathan (garnett_21) and not post to my blog until the Thrashers won again, and well, it took a little while. But hey....WE WON!

WOW! I cannot tell you how exciting of a game it was! It ended up going a little longer than it should have, but I am glad it ended in a good way!

The Thrashers have started the second half off 0-2, and are looking for their first win. However, it wouldnt come in this game against the Division Leading Carolina Hurricanes.

The first period had its first goal at 7:41, by M. Cullen (CAR), his 12th on the season to make it 1-0 Carolina. Then, at 18:29, the Hurricanes added to their 1-0 lead with a goal by R. Whitney (CAR), his 16th on the season to make it 2-0.

Well, after the shutout from the Stars, the Thrashers sure didnt start well on Thursday.
