I was really excited to see one of my own envelopes in the mail today, my first through the mail success! This puts me at 1 / 4. The player is: Karl Alzner. The only thing is though.. since this is my first TTM success, I'm not sure if this is normal. The auto I got looks really different from autos on UD and ITG cards.

TTM Update:
Well now I am 0-for-3 with my project... got back a Dany Heatley autographed postcard, but unsigned cards. :( All the cards I made are out, so I hope to get some signed soon. I'm thinking maybe it's the end of the season so they don't bother - so I might try again at the beginning of the next season. I don't want to have made those cards for no reason, printing them and taking the time to make them...

A few weeks ago, I was really bored so I made a custom for who else but Gagner... then I had the idea to make customs and then send them out for TTM autos! It would be like going after my own set... lol

To date, I've sent about 16 out... and have another batch to send out soon. Unfortunately, I've received two back unsigned :( These two were Jarome Iginla and Jason Spezza. They did send auto'd postcards though... if you're curious to who else I sent to, or what they look like... you ...

For the past 6 months or so, I've been stuck at home because of a (physical) disability... I'm close to be all better (yay) so now I've been looking for a job... I had to drop out of university, and I'm not sure if I'm going back for the same study, so I don't qualify for much right now :\ But I definitely need a job to pay for this hobby... lol

I try and catch Oilers games, they aren't on TV often and sometimes I'll watch online... today it was on TV but I decided to skip it. I checked the NHL Scoresheet and it was 4-1 with about half a period left in the game... I was like, ahh I'll just skip this one, it's almost over.

I just checked NHL.com again, and saw 8-1 final . Checked the scoresheet, hoping that Gagner has some points/goals... and his first NHL hat trick!! I can't believe I missed the ...
