This has been an absolutely horrible week in the hobby for me. Between the big snow storm we got delaying the delivery of our Upper Deck NHCD packs, scams and rip off stories I am so angry I could explode.
First we got an email saying that Upper Deck in an effort to discourage National Hockey Card Day items being delivered early (so crooks and cheats could sell them on ebay) the distributors weren't supposed to ship until Thursday for Friday delivery and Saturday giveaways. I
Just wanted to post a reminder that Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day is this Saturday, February 9th. This is an event we have supported over the years with FREE packs for all who visit. Frozen Heroes will also be giving away FREE Biography of a Season ten card sets to collectors and giving away a few signed hockey pucks from our Toronto Maple Leafs friends.

As a card store owner I get a lot of people coming and going who ask all kinds of questions. Some interesting and some quite stupid. I enjoy trying to help educate those who are genuinely interested in getting into the hobby or wanting to know more about it but the ones that absolutely annoy me are the questions such as "why are your prices higher then the flea market".
