The Return!

As you get older you begin to realize that it is hard to find the same joys that you had when you were younger.

I can't tell you what it was, but do you remember the days when the janitor of your elementary school would climb up on top of the roof? The wide eyed frenzy of kids running around trying to grab one of the hundreds of balls imprisoned on top of the building.

Very few things can equal that day as you grow up.

A few weeks ago I fell asleep on the train and missed my stop. I jumped of and found myself in my old neighbourhood and decided to have a look around (It was almost like that Twighlight Zone episode, I beleive it was called 'Walking Distance')

Next thing you know, I find myself in the old card shop I used to frequent as a kid and I am talking to the owner.

After some chit chat, I decide to crack a pack of Upper Deck 10-11's.

There it is! That feeling came rushing back! Who am I going to open? Not to mention, I didn't even really know what an insert was until I laid eyes on my new Ovechkin jersey card!

Now I am back, organizing and reorganizing my cards, and I am happy to have found this site to serve as my virtual playground with all of you as my peers!

I love the site!
