Using Photobucket

Rate this Entry
It has come to my attention that some people on here don't know how to use Photobucket. On some of the posts that I have wanted someone to look at my bucket they have told me it doesn't work. This has made me think that we need to post to these people how to use Photobucket to look at trade lists on there. When someone tells you to "Look at my bucket" they will have a link in their sig. When you click on this, it will take you to the main part of their library. Some people have cards on this page, others don't. Either way, there are other folders to find cards in. When on this main library page, if it is empty don't think it doesn't work, look to the left and you will see a white button with > on it. Click on this and it will bring up a menu. From there, you can click on any folder that they have available for viewing. Try it with mine. http://s1002.beta.photobucket.com/us...ucket/library/ Any questions on this please ask me or other members with Photobucket accounts to help out. It helps those of us that don't want to have rows and rows of our Photobucket folders in our sigs.

I know new members need to make a certain number of posts to be able to view signatures. Until they reach that number, all they see are the posts.

Really? Wow, didn't know that. That seems to have changed since I was a new member.

It still had to be said Stewman. You've posted what I've been grumbling to myself for months. Now.....if I we can only train you and others to title your uploads, haha.

The real issue is the NEW photobucket layout. I hate it. A lot. HATE.

People click on the link to your main album, and they don't know that you have to click on the tab on the left side of the page to view its table of contents... really frustrating. I have had numerous people PM me back saying, "Hey. I went to your bucket and you don't have anything uploaded!"

    Arg...

The Franchise: Titles on photos? Who needs that? LOL! I have been working on updating my bucket and will work on the titles later. Just want to get the cards scanned in and then go from there.

I have a love/hate relationship with Photobucket. While I love being able to see card scans for free, my already slow comp runs even slower when I have to zoom in on a single pic to see the players name. As long as I'm able to stay on the albums first level then all is well in the world, lol. My "old school" bucket - http://s1127.photobucket.com/albums/...The_Franchise/

Nice! You even went alphabetical too! That would take too much time for me. I am a little lazy. :)

Actually, there is a way to organize it all by title name in the "organize" feature, at least in the old photobucket...

May have to check it out and see if it is on the new bucket. Still trying to update everything.

Yes, I totally took advantage of the alphabetical organizer, I wouldn't have done it other wise. On this first day of the new year, I'm already seeing unwanted changes. It looks like we now have to log into COMC.com to see BV's? and did Photobucket automatically force me to adhere to their new style format? Grrrr!!!!
