Just thought I'd air this out.
Comment if you like, I just thought this would be comedic. We all know those eBay goofballs that do the most random things for the most random of reasons.
This is meant to be read from top to bottom (Oldest message on top)
A minimal amount of info beforehand:
I am the buyer in this case, and won two items from the same seller which were listed at $5 Shipping each. I requested an invoice total and:

When I saw you were charging $5.00 Shipping per auction, I assumed it would be free combined shipping.
Could you please cancel the transaction for the /card name/. I'll pay the $5 Shipping for the /card name/, which is still insanely high, but the only reason I bid on the /card name/ was because I figured it'd be free after the first $5.
Thanks,
Adam

You wanted $7.50 originally for shipping, which was obviously out of whack. I didn't agree with $5 much either really, but I let it go cause I know people just want to make an extra buck when they can. But come on man, you don't even use padded envelopes lol. $5-$7.50 shipping charges, and it cost you $1.12 to ship, in a cheap envelope that shouldn't be used for cards.
That's a joke.
I'm not going to leave you negative feedback, cause the cards did arrive and they seem to be in ok shape, it's Topps Chrome which has problems anyway. so it's harder to tell, but I am going to leave neutral feedback and draw attention to the shipping charges.
I recall you saying you were trying to avoid negative feedback, well man, you really are not doing yourself any favors by doing this with this shipping stuff.
Good luck in the future,
Adam

Give me what feedback you want but you know, I didn't make you bid and I honestly didn't plan on those particular items to go that high in price but hey, I have no control over that. Sorry for all the problems but if I knew this woulda been that big of a deal, I woulda wrapped yer stuff in gold!! Can't satisfy everyone but at least I tried! Anyway, thanks again for the business!
Ps- I gave you good feedback even though you were difficult but you still knew the shipping charges before bidding but you still bid. And I was more than flexible with you about it.
Have a good one!

I'm not looking to cause problems. I'm giving honest feedback.
You're absolutely correct, you didn't make me bid. I did know the shipping charges yes, but not what they were for or how they were used. Now your buyers can see that you charge $5 shipping, but for no real reason other than to make a few more bucks. Not only do you charge ~4x the price of fair shipping, but you chose the cheap route and don't even use a padded envelope. That's a two-fold gouge. Knock it off.
If I had known this is what I was going to get for a $5 shipping charge I would have said something, or asked to cancel the transaction. It's my fault for assuming that people have standards. In all seriousness, why would you even be selling cards on eBay without having padded envelopes? I realize it may not be your forte, I see a lot of coin selling in your feedback history, but you should still know better than to put a card(s) in an oversized loose envelope lol. A worst case scenario is you could have gone to plenty of local stores and got a $0.69 padded envelope (and that's if you buy them single, from a drug store, which is the expensive way). The $5 shipping charge could have bought 7 of those. $7.50 would have bought 10. So why are you charging so much for shipping if not for things like that?
You tried, kind of, to satisfy me. With half truths, lol. You didn't lie, but you didn't give the whole truth either. Both are bad practices.
You knocked it down from $7.50 to $5 for the same $1.12 shipping lol.
If we actually went through with the $7.50 charge, you're damn right it'd be negative feedback lol.
It isn't denoted as negative, it's neutral. In my opinion it's informative. Now buyers will know to properly/thoroughly question your shipping before buying from you.
