Autograph/GU Cards Buying Questions

Rate this Entry
So far, I’ve gotten 1 in person autograph way back in 2004, and 500+ autographs TTM since I became addicted to collecting autographs less than 2 years ago.

I haven’t bought any autographs yet because I could use that money to try to get a bunch of sports cards autographed and stuff like that. But I’ve been thinking about my collection a lot lately, and it feels a little “strange”, because there’s no real direction to it, it’s just a collection of all different kinds of autographs from anyone that will sign them for me. That’s great and all and I appreciate every single autograph I get, but I won an autographed baseball a few days ago and I’ve been really excited about that.

So today I was looking online at autographs $50 and under and found many that I liked……..but I don’t want to start buying balls, hockey pucks, or other memorabilia……and find out later on that they were all signed by some forger signing autos in his parents basement or something…… so I was wondering what the most trustworthy sites are?

I’ve also seen a lot of nice game used cards on Ebay, but I’ve never used Ebay before. When I shop online I always use a debit card, and don’t have paypal. Most Ebay sales have the paypal payment symbol.

I’ve bought some outdoor equipment online……with my debit card and it might have been through paypal……I know that’s confusing, but I was wondering if you can use a debit card through paypal…..even if you don’t have paypal?

Any help with my questions would be GREATLY appreciated!
