Usually 1/1s go for a good bit of change, but for this 2012 Topps UFC Finest 1/1 Red Diamond Platinum FIRST AUTOGRAPH of Ronda Rousey went for a big price tag last month. Closing at the price of $10,103.00 and receiving 59 total bids, this shows you not only what the value of this card is, but also how much people are paying for the premium autograph of one of(understatement?) the best Women's UFC fighters we have seen. There have been other 1/1s that have sold from the same product, and here they are with the link to the sale as well.
- 1/1 Cyan Printing Plate $2,750(the seller has relisted it, and has a higher price tag on it) (http://www.ebay.com/itm/RONDA-ROUSEY...item339ea07f40)
- That same 1/1 printing plate went for $1,026.00 to the guy who is selling it now (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Topps-U...item2eddc929bd)
- 1/1 Red Ink Auto $2,649.99 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Topps-Ufc-Finest-Ronda-Rousey-True-1-1-Red-Ink-Auto-Autograph-/191513446728?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c9717 4948)
- 5/8 Octafractor $2,025.00 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Topps-U...p2047675.l2557)
Now, you're probably wondering, "Why did he include that last one, it isn't a 1/1?" Well, it turns out that card is Population 1 in the becket registry with a grading of 9.5/10. Everything on it was graded a solid 9.5 except the autograph and the surface receiving a 10.
To put this into perspective, here is what you could have bought with that money if you bought the $10K+ 1/1
(all card prices coming from Dave and Adam's Card World and are subject to change, prices are rounded up to the nearest dollar)
- A little less than 16 FULL CASES of 2014 Topps UFC Bloodlines(16 total cases = $10,400)
- 10 Full cases plus an extra box of 2015 Topps Allen and Ginter(10 Cases = about $10,000 and 1 box is $87)
- 4 Full cases plus 2 more boxes of 2014 Panini Immaculate Football(4 cases = $9,200 and 2 boxes = $780)
- Pay for about half of a new car(Average American sedans and the misc. ones you see for like $19K or less)
