I'd like to post this blog to introduce, one of the greatest person in the Hungarian hockey life, but he's gone on 25th March, 2009.
Ifj. Gabor Ocskay.
Well, I met him in the first days of March, at my work, he came in to buy a bottle of wine. I behave like a little guy, I was so emberassed. One of my friend was there, and he asked:
-Who was this?
He asked, because he wanted a wine, and I took of another bottle from the shelf, which funny, because it was at least double priced. I didn't know how to behave.
When he went out, and I explained to my friend who was he, he asked, why didn't I ask him an autograph? I said, he will come in soon, for sure.
But he won't.
His team the Alba Volán which is placed at Székesfehérvár, won their 9th Championship on 21st March. And his nameday was on 24. He died that night, in her girfriend arms. He's big heart stopped.
I wouldn't like to say bigger words about him, just to know him a bit. I read in a newspaper. When they won the 9th Trophy, he went to the woman, ho cleans at their arena, and Gabor said thanks to the lady, because it was her success too.
Hungary lost one of his biggest Sportman. With his leadership, now we can play in the Group A in Switzerland, this month. He's faceoff has to be the first to Hungary. The first pass. But he won't be there.
Yesterday, and the day before the Hungarian team had a friendly match with Finland. The guys, without their leader, won the first game 4-3 in SO. Everybody added the maximum. He was there with them. Everybody knows that.
The second game we lost 0-6. But that was another game, some of the players had rest. But who cares.
We think, the National Team won't be the same without him, and it wouldn't. But these guys, a week after this tragedy, stood up, and beat Finland. I know they didn't come with the BIG team. But it's nice. It was a little good feeling for everyone who likes hockey in Hungary.

I'd like to share you a video about Gabor, to know him, why everybody loves him here.
He's last two goals:
One of his goals at the WC, a shorthanded one:
His team named their arena from him, and the team added his number to their name. Now they're Alba Volán 19.
We will never forget you Gabor. And thank you for everything you did for the Hungarian ice hockey.
Rest In Peace Gabor.
