Karine's Thoughts

If you moved to another country, what would you miss the most?

Think about it, it's not an easy question to answer...6 years after moving over here from Canada there is one thing I still miss just as much as I did on day 1: My favorite sports on television and going to see matches at the Bell Centre. Don't get me wrong I did get used to football (yes I mean soccer) but it's really not the same...

Thankfully, last week, we finally had a satellite dish installed and this means one thing: NASN! North American Sports Network That's right, Hockey everyday! Wooo Hooo! Granted this is no replacement for going to live events but with a bit of luck maybe, just maybe the NHL will venture again to England this year?

I can hope right? I mean the NFL came here for the last two years and they are coming back again in October, this time the Patriots and the Buccaneers are coming over. I fully intend to go to that one too! However I would much prefer to see another couple of NHL games at the O2 Arena...Who knows, maybe the NHL would have listened to my criticism and brought over cards as well as every other single piece of memorabilia possible?

Unfortunately for me though, rumour has it that the Hawks and the Panthers are going to Prague this year: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=401550. Two years in a row? Come on Gary, at least alternate!

Rant over lol
