Well, if someone had told me at the beginning of the month that Boston would have the best record in the MLB at the end of the month, I'd have thought that to be a rather good April Fools Day joke! Well, Spring is officially here & Major League Baseball has started for the season! Unfortunately his average has dropped some this month as he's now batting .297 for the season & he did commit his first error of the season. What an amazing month this was for my collection! It also meant the start of the 2013 Baseball season for Vanderbilt University! Michael started his final season with the Commodores with a respectable stat line going 11 for 32 (.344), 9-R, 9-RBI, 6-BB, 4-K, 7-SB, 1-CS, 2-HBP, 0-ERR, 1-2B, 1-3B, 1-HR, 1-SH & 3-SF. He definitely did better than I did for the month when it came to winning auctions as I went 5 for 16 (.313).

Well, the new year is under way & I already can't wait for Spring training games to start up! Although if my work schedule doesn't let up I won't get to enjoy much baseball at all this year. Through the first month I was only able to avoid making the hour plus drive to work for 4 out of the 31 days. It sure did put a damper on adding much to the PC this month.
