by frozenheroes on 06-20-2013 at 07:47 PM
Just wanted to let you know that we officially closed the Ajax store on Sunday, June 16th at 5:00. While this was a difficult day for us for several reasons we are looking forward to moving ahead. The period between June 17th and June 30th will be spent packing up and moving everything to our new location in Whitby. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 2nd and will be keeping the same business hours of operation, we will still accept interac debit cards and credit cards for payment and will continue

The Local Card Store Question

by frozenheroes on 05-15-2013 at 05:39 PM
Another one of those popular questions that gets asked of us but for some reason it came up several times this past week. Why have so many card shops closed over the years ? This has happened to stores of all sizes over the years and the answer is simple. LACK OF LOYALTY and GREED.

2013-14 SCORE Hockey

by frozenheroes on 04-19-2013 at 05:20 PM
Well the S%&T will hit the fan and the I told you sos will start. All the bragging about a double rookie crop in 2013-14 thanks to the lockout/strike has claimed its first victim. Those who thought that things would go on as if nothing happened next season are being proven wrong. I just saw the pre-order prices for 2013-14 SCORE HOCKEY and to say I had to check the prices three times is not a lie. A 2012-13 hobby box with 36 packs which we sold for $28 this past year will now cost almost $60

Rookie Card or not ?

by frozenheroes on 03-10-2013 at 04:58 PM
I got an email asking if this card was a rookie card or not as several are currently listed on websites for sale. This question has been asked before and I will repeat exactly what I said previously.

2012 Panini Father's Day Rookies #12 Ryan Nugent-Hopkins

This card (along with the others from this 'set') is not a ROOKIE CARD. It is not recognized by Beckett as a RC because it doesn't come from a regular issued set. It doesn't matter that it is serial-numbered or not it

Website Rip Offs and Postage

by frozenheroes on 03-01-2013 at 04:04 PM
Website Rip Offs has been a big pain in the butt for many sellers Buyers who claim they didn't get their item and file a claim to get there money back Most sites will give these so-called buyers their money back if you can't provide a tracking number I don't know how many times I've lost money to this circumstance but it isn't something that you usually forget. Not all of these instances are scams but it is hard to believe when you look at it that certain delivery
