For the second time, St. Louis is without an NFL franchise. The citizens have more than enough right to be upset, especially with someone they thought was one of their own.

On January 3, WWE CEO/Chairman Vince McMahon, who plays the part of a prematurely senile, deranged executive on TV, was breaking bread with another unpopular senior citizen, Dallas Cowboys owner/president/GM Jerry Jones, at AT&T-Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, site of WrestleMania 32, three months from now. McMahon, along with daughter Stephanie and son-in-law Paul Levesque (aka Triple H), was in town to promote the "Show of Shows", and watched the Dallas-Washington game in Jones' box.
On December 26, the Philadelphia Eagles were eliminated from playoff contention with a loss to Washington. Less than 72 hours later, owner Jeff Lurie dismissed head coach "Paint" Chip Kelly, even though the Eagles still have 1 game left, an opportunity to once again sweep the Giants.

A week ago, on Monday Night Football, the hype leading to the Giants-Dolphins game was the first pro meeting of former LSU teammates Jarvis Landry (Miami) & Odell Beckham, Jr. (Giants). Both shined in the primetime spotlight, of course, but it was Beckham, as usual, making highlight reel catches and scoring long TD's to give the Giants a win.
Six days later, however, the darker side of Beckham emerged at the worst possible time.
