Upper Deck Series 1 Checklist is up

Looks as good as could be expected with no season (so far). I am really excited about the Winter Classic Oversized cards.

Only two Canvas autos #'ed to 14 and 79... Those are going to draw some cash

For the first time in EVER, Josh has an insert in an UD product! That Clear Cut Foundations pairing with P.K. should be a really sweet card, and they've got a Requisite Radiance too! And a Canvas! And they'll also be making his very first MVP card. Yay!

I am very happy with Upper Deck this morning.

Looks like the first year I won't be doing Series 1, just don't see the point in it this year with the rookie crop.

At least I have a Winter Classic oversized to add to the collection.

No case for me given this line up. If there is no hockey then no series two either.

So after taking a look a the list of Young Guns, the one that jumps out at me, as a question mark, is: Warren Peters.

When was the last time there was a Young Gun (or any RC set) made of a player who had RCs out the year before? (He had RCs in a couple of 11-12 Panini products)

There will be no series 1 under the tree this year.

Last year.

Alex Stalock had rookies in Panini in 10/11, then rookies in UD in 11/12.
