A tear comes from my everytime he throws a longball, his WR's are well below average, half way though the season and he lead the Hawks to 6-4 while last year they went a total 7-9. He beat Brady/Cam/Rodgers*, and is really coming into his own the last couple of games. He's got 1800 passing on the season with 15 Touchdowns I know it doesn't sound a lot but he has one of the lowest Passing attempts in the league 29th if he got more attempts no doubt in my mind would he be in many peoples lists.imo
i have to agree with gladdy on Eli, and i'm a giants fan. Very average yr so far.
What does he have 12 td's, 11 int's? had such a great start

How does anyone justify putting RG3 on a top 10 list and leaving Josh Freeman off?
I understand that people have different opinions on lists like these..... but ultimately a players career needs to be taken into consideration when making the list. Although Eli hasnt played that well this year he plays big in big games and always has. He will throw up some stinkers but his best is on the level with brady, peyton, rodgers....... and rookies are difficult to guage. Its tough for me to list an RG3 on a losing team as a really high rated QB...at the same time its also hard to rate Luck really high because he has as many td's as interceptions...... anyway, here is my list.
1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Tom Brady
3. Peyton Manning
4. Ben Roethlisberger
5. Drew Brees
6. Eli Manning
7. Matt Ryan
8. Matt Schaub
9. Ribert Griffin

im surprised to see schaub on most of these lists. i personally think he's been bottom top ten for a few years dispite his numbers of late. anyway here's mine :)
1. rodgers (yeah he tore up houston so i give credit where its due)
2. brady
3. peyton manning
4. brees
5. roethlisberger
6. eli manning (seems to be contriversial, but romo is just as talented yet loses in any real game while eli wins them. the fact is he wins when it counts)
7. matt schaub
8. matt ryan (not completely sold on ryan yet, but i'll give him his dues for now)
9. andrew luck (7-1 in games decided by one score. multiple come back last second wins. this guy is the real deal dispite some of his stats)
10. RG3 (could be several qb's at this spot, so i just picked one)
1001. mark sanchez (another matt leinart. i never liked this guy. same as flacco. both have been over rated since they came in the league. although i wouldnt put flacco last)
1 vick
2 sanchez
