Basketball cards that don't seem to actually exist

GeorgehenryCollec had a great thread in the football section that resulted in a lot of cards being found so I thought it would be a good idea to have a basketball one.

What cards seem to not exist even though they are listed on an inventory or a checklist? Post here and maybe a member can help you find it!

As a set builder, I have verified through eBay, Sportlots, and other places that these do not, in fact, exist:

1993-94 Hoops Fifth Anniversary Gold Checklists (298-300)
1999-00 SkyBox APEX Vernon Maxwell 105

small edit: the series two gold parallel checklists don't exist for Hoops, either.

The gold Scoops checklist from that year's hoops doesn't exist either. The regular Scoops set has 28 cards, but the gold version has only 27.

In the same vein, other 90s parallel sets that don't include the base checklists are:
1995-96 Jam Session Die-Cuts (#119, 120)
1995-96 Metal Silver Spotlight (#119, 120)

Some error cards that the Beckett claims exists, but years of fruitless searching has shown me they do not exist:
1981-82 Topps East Checklist #93 - error version that says WEST 93 instead of EAST 93
1990-91 Fleer Dan Majerle #150 - error version that says "award in 1988"
1990-91 Hoops Terry Porter #249 - error version missing NBA logo on the back
1990-91 Skybox Dennis Rodman #91 - version with Skybox logo in upper right
1990-91 Skybox Kevin Johnson #224 - version with Skybox logo in upper right
1991-92 Fleer Dikembe Mutombo #277 - version that says "Fleer '91" in lower right

And I know the 2008-09 UD Premier Octographs card of draft picks 9-16 doesn't exist, because it was a 1/1 and the guy who ordered it as a redemption from Upper Deck said that Upper Deck would not honor the redemption and made him pick a replacement.

Yeah it does exist.

Wow................I'm kind of pissed now. I waited 2+ years for that card and no dice, I don't recall what the rep. told me but it ended up being replaced with other cards UD owed me. I do remember telling the rep. that I would prefer to have this card......ugh

It could've been that he didn't want to sign at that time. There was talk on another forum about two guys pulling the same redemption, one guy redeemed it and they sent him a replacement, the other guy held on to it for a couple months and they shipped him the initial card.

Having looked into this set, I heard a rumour that some of his cards were live and others were redemptions that he never fulfilled.
