Birth control is a medicine and it is covered by health insurance. This fight is about an employer trying to take that coverage away. Not ok.

What if this company decides that they won't cover HIV drugs because of the moral implications of HIV?
Getting AIDS doesn't mesh with those christian values either, are they going to deny those insurance claims too?

He is if they can't afford birth control but the business health plan is supposed to and he does not.

Hobby lobby gives their employees money, they then can then go purchase birth control. I find it odd that the government thinks its there job to give away free sex to everyone.

Kill babies? You've lost it. It delays ovulation. You might want to educate yourself at some point.

Question. Are boner pills covered? You know, Viagra, Cialis, etc.

Medically speaking it doesn't do that. It's a high dose of birth control. You have ignored my point, they are letting an ethical problem sway the health coverage of their employees. it is not ok. If they had a problem covering AIDS drugs because of an ethical problem would you defend that too?

Not sure, I don't think so. Too expensive. You only need half a Viagra anyway. Give the other half to her, women go berserk on the stuff.

Not to mention, how does birth control cause abortions? I'd say lack of birth control is the leading cause of abortions.

Anyone calling this "giving away free sex" needs to back up and realize what they just said. Obama is not going house to house offering people sex at no charge. THAT would be giving away free sex. Not birth control. Don't be stupid.

Wick - it's the emergency contraception they disagree with. They say the morning after pill (and the like) is akin to abortion. Medically it's not seen that way. But the bible says it is. There are tons of bible passages about how using chemicals to delay ovulation is just like murder. oh wait...

    Yeah.
I just love how birth control is giving away free sex but Viagra isn't.
